While the entire Isekai community is rallying behind Rudeus Greyrat's return in Mushoku Tensei Season 3 on July 5th, my absolute prediction is that Re:ZERO Season 4 is going to completely overshadow the competition and break social media records when it drops in August! 

Think about the sheer narrative weight of what White Fox is adapting. Season 4 plunges Subaru Natsuki straight into the brutal, unforgiving desert to conquer the Pleiades Watchtower.

This isn't just another standard fantasy arc—this is a grueling, psychological puzzle filled with devastating plot twists, identity crises, and a level of emotional suffering that rivals the legendary "Sanctuary Arc."

Mushoku Tensei has a massive, loyal fanbase, but its narrative pace is going to be far more slow-burning and political this season.

On the flip side, Re:ZERO is coming out of the gate swinging with pure, high-octane mystery and jaw-dropping cliffhangers every single Sunday.

My theory is that by late August, the sheer viral shock value of Subaru’s watchtower trials will completely capture the global anime algorithms, making it the undeniable, undisputed champion of Summer 2026!
